L’atteinte des Objectifs du Développement Durable (ODD) est au-delà d’une simple parole. Il faut tout un changement de comportement pour y arriver. Pour se faire, je salue les différentes initiatives et projets qui vont dans ce sens.
Cependant, les actions actuelles nous permettent-elles d’atteindre les ODD ?
Dans cet article, je ferai une petite analyse.
Si nous voyons bien, les 17 ODD se suivent et s’entremêlent. Ce qui montre qu’on ne peut laisser aucun maillon de la chaîne et continuer avec les autres. Personnellement, je pense que, les objectifs 3 et 4, qui sont respectivement « Bonne Santé et Bien-être » et « Éducation de qualité » constituent les soubassements d’un Développement Durable.
En effet, un jeune, même en milieu rural, qui a les moyens de faire ses études et qui a accès à des soins de santé, pourra obtenir et garder un emploi décent, ou même entreprendre facilement.
Aussi, lui permettre d’avoir accès aux informations sur les méthodes contraceptives et la planification familiale l’aidera à mieux planifier son futur, à sécuriser son emploi et subvenir aux besoins de sa famille. Ceci concerne davantage les femmes qui, souvent n’arrivent pas à sécuriser leurs emplois ou encore en obtenir à cause des grossesses non planifiées. Nous pouvons ainsi dire que la planification familiale contribue à l’atteinte des ODD 5, 8 et 1 qui sont : « Égalité entre les sexes » « Travail décent et croissance économique » et enfin « Pas de pauvreté ». Car les jeunes ont parfois peur de l’avenir qui se dessine devant eux, et lorsque qu’ils n’ont pas accès aux bonnes informations, ils peuvent la bafouer à cause de leurs ‘’irresponsabilité’’.
Il urge que les décideurs fassent une petite analyse afin d’identifier les domaines clés où ils doivent investir et comment investir. J’aimerais saluer la détermination et l’engagement de tous ceux qui œuvrent pour l’atteinte de ces objectifs et, plus précisément ceux qui se battent pour que l’accès gratuit aux méthodes de planification familiale soit une réalité.
